Patsy Meiser of Harmony-Travel and Leo Larivee of TLC Tours work together as “Harmony Travel Partners” when we are in Ireland in order to help Sweet Adelines International choruses experience the best that Ireland has to offer.
Patsy and Leo have worked together since Tropical Harmony Chorus first traveled to Ireland several years ago. What Patsy and Leo offer your group is experienced travel consultation that understands, from the perspective of a Chorus Director, what is required of Barbershop Choruses and Quartets, when they travel and when they perform. Patsy and Leo have already “been there and done that” so that you and your chorus won’t have to worry. Between them, Patsy and Leo have nearly a century of front-line director experience, and more than 29 years of organizing Performance Tours in Ireland. When it comes to selecting singing venues, there are multiple possibilities for your chorus. The goals and abilities of each chorus are taken into consideration to ensure that the venues that we provide for you are compatible. Sometimes the venues will depend on the time of year that you choose to travel (Irish Festivals) whereas St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin can usually be experienced any time of year. The Irish Association of Barbershop Singers (IABS) Convention is held the first weekend in October, and North American choruses and quartets are eligible to enter both chorus and quartet International Competitions.
